WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF DEA.

Even though we are staying home mostly, it seems like the days and weeks 

are passing quickly. I am keeping busy in my craft room, making masks,

catching up on new hints on Ancestry with the many family trees I am researching, and

of course, cleaning cooking and the laundry.  I would like to be out in the yard

more, but it has just been too hot, and redheads with light skin don't do well

in the sun!

I stamped the image with clear embossing ink on Vellum .

I then colored the image on the BACK side of the vellum using

Alcohol ink markers. coloring the background light blue and leaving

some white spots for clouds.

I cut out the image and framed it in black and mounted it onto a

I love how it turned out.  In person, the silver looks just like

the lead of a real stained glass window.

It is so very hot here today almost 90 degrees and it has been

This wonderful elephant stamp by Colorado Crafts is one of their stamps from their 

big ones line.  Isn't he gorgeous.  I colored with different shades of gray and

put a drop of glossy accents on the eye.  Paper is an old sheet I have been hanging

on to for so long............

The sentiment is from the stamp set, and so is the inside sentiment which

says......TONS. in big about 1 1/2 inch letters.

Then I just removed the white pieces and filled in the cake with

the dotted and sivler cutouts.  Lots of pieces  left over so you could

make more of them if you wanted.

Then I simply mounted it on a green piece of the dotted paper and

onto a sunny yellow card 4 1/4 x 51/2.

Would be a fun card with the saying "A birthday without cake is just a meeting"
